General Notary Services
What is a mobile notary? A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to your location to notarize documents. Instead of you having to find and visit a notary office, I come to your home, office, hospital, or any convenient location within my service area.
What areas do you serve? We proudly serve the Portland, Oregon metro area and surrounding communities. Our service area includes:
Portland Metro Core:
Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Tigard, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Milwaukie, Oregon City
East Metro & Columbia River Gorge:
Troutdale, Wood Village, Fairview, Cascade Locks, Hood River
South Metro:
Tualatin, Wilsonville, Sherwood, Happy Valley, Clackamas
North Metro & Vancouver Area:
We serve the Oregon side of the metro area. For Washington residents, please note our service limitations below.
Do you provide services in Washington State? No, we only provide notary services in Oregon. While we're located near the Portland metro area which includes Vancouver, WA, our notary commission is valid only in the state of Oregon. We cannot perform notarizations for documents in Washington or any other state.
What documents can you notarize? I can notarize a wide variety of documents including real estate documents, powers of attorney, living wills, advance directives, affidavits, loan documents, business agreements, vehicle titles, and many more. If you're unsure whether your document requires notarization, feel free to reach out.
What do I need to bring to the appointment? You'll need a valid, government-issued photo ID such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID card. The document to be notarized should be complete but unsigned (you'll sign in my presence). Do not sign the document beforehand.
How much do your services cost? Fee Schedule: $10 per notarial act plus a $75 travel fee (first 30 miles). An additional $5 per additional 10 miles beyond 30 miles.
How quickly can you come to me? I offer same-day and emergency notary services when available. For best availability, I recommend scheduling appointments 24-48 hours in advance, though I'll do my best to accommodate urgent requests.
Wedding Officiant Services
Why should I use a notary as my wedding officiant? As a notary officiant, I can offer flexibility in location and timing, customize your ceremony to reflect your values and style, and handle all the legal paperwork efficiently. This is perfect for intimate weddings, elopements, or couples who want a meaningful ceremony without the expense of hiring a traditional officiant. Plus, you get the peace of mind knowing your marriage license is in experienced hands from start to finish.
Do you perform ceremonies at any location? Yes! I can officiate your wedding at the location of your choice—whether that's a backyard, park, beach, vineyard, or any meaningful spot. I'm happy to discuss your vision and make your ceremony as special as you'd like it to be.
What's included in your wedding officiant service? My wedding officiant services include a pre-ceremony consultation to discuss your preferences, a customized ceremony script, the legal solemnization of your marriage, completion and filing of your marriage license with the county, and a certified copy of your marriage certificate.
